- GENERAL
- These terms and conditions relate to all events arranged, managed, hosted by Escape4fun Ltd, (hereafter Escape4fun) regardless of where the events are held, promoted or sold by.
- Escape4Fun Ltd is a company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales under company number 11396246
- These terms and conditions and any contract concluded incorporating these terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and all disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
- You have expressly agreed to participate to play any game at Escape4fun at your sole risk.
- The company is entitled to charge the guests for any damage which is intentional and/or caused by misuse of items.
- In any event Escape4fun shall not be held liable or responsible for any loss of your personal belongings or personal property, either within the site or outside of site. All items left are done so at your own risk.
- While you are on our premises, you must ensure to conform to our codes and regulations, adopt proper standards of behaviour and cooperate with our employees.
- The company doesn’t tolerate any kind of bullying or harassment towards its employees.
- The only language available for the conclusion of a contract online is English.
- Only person(s) who are at least 16 years of age are permitted to book a Game.
- This is a live event game and once the booking is confirmed, we cannot accept any cancellations, reschedules or give any refunds.
- Any purchase on the website is only valid when processed by the company. You shall receive a confirmation once your booking is processed.
- If you wish to transfer your booking(s) into someone else’s name, you must contact the company by either email or telephone at least 72 hours prior to the start of your booking.
- Bookings may not be transferred or resold for commercial purposes or at a premium. If a booking is transferred or resold in breach of this condition, the bearer of the booking or the person claiming the right to attend the event will be refused admission.
- You are entirely responsible for entering your details correctly on the Online Booking Form on the website.
- A booking can become a no-show and entry would be declined if the team is late 10 minutes or more of the booked starting time. In a case like this the purchase price is not refundable, and the booking is not changeable.
- Teams are required to show up 15 minutes prior to the booked time to have enough time to receive information regarding the rules of the game.
- Please wear a mask. This can be taken off during play, when you are among yourselves.
- BOOKINGS
- By booking an event you confirm that
- You are at least 16 years of age
- You provide accurate personal information about contact details (telephone number and email address)
- You accept our Terms and Conditions.
- Escape4fun is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information submitted during the booking process. All booking updates (including information, reminders and confirmations) are sent by email only. If you do not receive such email or the email is corrupt in any way (blank or otherwise), please contact [email protected]
- If you are booking on behalf of a group, please ensure that you have the consent of all members of the party before making a booking and that all members of your party have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The person who signs the booking form or completes the booking online or by telephone will be the “lead name” for the purposes of the booking.
- The lead name is responsible for payment of the total booking price, which may include any subsequent cancellation or amendment charges that may be payable. The lead name must confirm that all the other members of the party agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and provide accurate and full information to the remainder of the group in relation to the booking, including any subsequent changes.
- If you wish to change any part of your booking arrangements after our confirmation invoice has been issued, you must inform us in writing as soon as possible. This should be done by the Lead Name.
- Escape4fun will accommodate for lateness where possible but reserves the right to cancel the booking 10 minutes after the booking time slot. Escape4fun reserves the right to reduce the game length after 10 minutes delay of start.
- Any special requests must be advised to us at the time of booking. Although we will try to meet any special requests, we regret we cannot promise that any requests will be complied with unless we have specifically confirmed this in writing. Failure to meet any special request will not be a breach of contract on our part unless the request has been specifically confirmed. We do not accept bookings that are conditional upon any special request being met.
- To make a booking on the day, please do so 3 hours prior you wish your game to start.
- When booking on a weekday please ensure that you call us on our mobile to ensure that we can accomodate your booking. If you book on our website without confirming availability with us, you might have to wait longer to enter the premises or your booking could be canceled.
VOUCHERS/GIFT CERTIFICATES
- Vouchers and gift certificates hereinafter voucher codes.
- We only accept valid voucher codes. These vouchers can be redeemed in our booking system.
- When booking an event by using a voucher the booking is confirmed only after the voucher has been accepted. If the voucher code is incorrect, we reserve the right to reject the booking without notice. However, as a gesture of goodwill, we endeavor to make a reasonable number of contact attempts to rectify such issues. Confirmation of a successful booking will be provided by email.
- Escape4fun does not take liability for and does not accept third party vouchers or discounts. The vouchers are valid for 6 months.
CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING, REFUND AND NON-ATTENDANCE
- CANCELLATION PERIOD
- Escape4fun allows customers to change or cancel bookings up to 72 hours prior to the event. This is referred to as cancellation period. In this case customers are entitled to refund. A refund is the paid fees minus the banking charges which is about 2% of the transferred amount.
- Refund or Partial refund is available in this 72 hours period prior to the event. If cancellation or rescheduling occurs within 72 hours no refunds or rescheduling are available.
- In the event that your booking has to be canceled due to changes in the Covid-19 restrictions, Escapge4fun will provide a voucher for the same value as original booking, which will be valid for a year from original event date. Refunds will not be issued.
RESCHEDULING
- If a game needs to be rescheduled to a later appointment requested by the customer, customer must give the notice up to 72 hours prior the event.
CANCELLATION BY ESCAPE4FUN
- If the unlikely case where the event is cancelled by Escape4fun, we will contact those affected and endeavour to achieve a satisfactory resolution, e.g. change of event date, or refund.
- Escape4fun will also attempt to ensure that affected customers are contacted without delay. However, if the submitted contact details are not correct, we are not liable for any lack of contact.
- CANCELLING VOUCHER BOOKING
- When cancelling a booking that was paid by third-party voucher (Ie:Goupon), Escape4Fun is not able to offer refund as you fall under the third party retailer’s policies. We advise you to contact the retailer that sold the voucher to make reasonable arrangements.
- Escape4fun is not responsible for third party retailers, nor do we have any involvement with their cancellation policies.
NON-ATTENDANCE
- If you fail to attend an event for which you are registered and have not given us prior notice, you shall not be entitled to any refund, transfer or otherwise pursuant to our refund policy.
- The event is indoors and will not be cancelled for weather conditions.
- If the weather is extreme and we are forced to cancel, we will make sure to contact all participants with as much notice as possible. We will then decide either to transfer bookings to another session or make other reasonable arrangements.
- PRICE AND PAYMENT
- The price of each game is stated on the website under Games or Gift Vouchers.
- The price is set based on a group (2- 6 persons). The group can only consist of players whom are with the person who booked and paid for the room (Lead name). No strangers will be added to your group.
- The website contains different prices and offers to suit your need. Please check all the options before purchasing an escape room
- The payments can be made by: Stripe, bank transfer or cash.
- Bookings can be made primarily online through our website.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking. Reservations made by telephone must be followed by online payment, bank transfer or cash at the premises within 72 hours of the booking, otherwise it will be cancelled.
- Discount offers cannot be combined.
- Liability
- Each player will be instructed before their game by staff. After learning the rules of the event, each player will participate at their own risk. The company is not liable for any (personal or equipment) damages caused by not following the rules described before the event. Each player must sign a statement agreeing to the Terms and Condition of the Game before entering the escape room.
- WEBSITE USE AND SECURITY
- The website escape4fun.co.uk hereinafter the website is owned and operated by Escape4fun Ltd. hereinafter the company. The company holds the right to amend or vary the terms and conditions below including any of the contents of this website from time to time at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
- Escape4fun collects and stores your personal details without disclosing it to any third party and is dedicated to ensure that the privacy of your personal information is protected in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
- The website may contain hyperlinks to third party websites. The operation of those websites is out of the company’s control and you may use them at your own risk. The company accepts no liability for any damage arising out of any use of those websites.
- The terms and conditions apply to the use of the website by any visitor and should be read carefully before any use or booking.
- The company does its best to supply you with the most up to date and accurate information on the website.
- The website is for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from this website without the written consent of the company.
- You are not permitted to link to or use all or any part of the website for any purpose which is fraudulent, unlawful, defamatory, harmful, obscene or objectionable.
- You accept that the Internet is not fully secure. The company will take all appropriate steps to protect your information.
- The company shall not be liable to any person for any direct or indirect, consequential or incidental damages, including (without limitation) lost profits or revenues, loss of opportunity, costs of replacement goods or services, loss or damage to data or business interruption, arising out of any use of the website.
